Hi all,
As we all know, the pandemic has impacted everyone horribly, and continues to do so. We need to keep talking about it, despite how exhausting it may get. However...
We are not exposed to a consistent flow of reliable information, particularly on social media. As such, many are suffering from fear, confusion, and isolation, exacerbated by extreme differences in opinion on how seriously any aspect of the pandemic should be taken. Even from my point of view, some friends and family have stopped caring, while others remain in isolation.
I have dedicated the last three weeks towards finding clarity among the murky swathes of disinformation and spin-doctoring on the internet. I have read over 250 studies and articles, from sources including Cochrane Library, NCBI, the BMJ, the Lancet, Nature journal, and Oxford's Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine.
This fully-referenced report is my summary of the pandemic so far, presented without any personal spin. We need to talk about the pandemic from a better, evidence-based perspective, and subsequently help those around us who may be excessively fearful.
I really hope this helps.
